Day 1: Art Basel 2017
Tacita Dean, When first I raised the Tempest, 2016 8 panels, chalk on board, 244 x 976 cm “Driving down Sunset Boulevard early on in my stay, I was confronted by a voluminous atomic cloud blooming at the end of the road in front of me, back-dropped by a deep blue sky. Day 3: Kunstmuseum Basel
Not contemporary art but whenever you have a chance to see part of El Prado exhibition, always say yes. At the moment Kunstmuseum Basel is hosting Hola Prado!, creating a relationship between both museums’ collections as well as a separate exhibition, The Hidden Cézanne, focusing on his sketch books and works on paper.
