A couple of weeks ago I was travelling in Laos and Cambodia. I spent two weeks visiting Laos’ Buddhist temples in Luang Prabang; dining at sunset on the Mekong river and trailing Angkor Wat in Siem Rep amid the forest and the rice fields. I ventured into Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh with its colonial past and its majestic Royal Palace and finally, I plunged into the turquoise waters of Song Saa Island. I couldn’t have enough of the sky, turning soft blues and pinks like fire. A mixture of architecture, culture, art and sea is my visual ode to chasing the winter sun in South East Asia.
