A Year in Review: 2021 IñigoArt Advisory Highlights

From small acorns grow mighty oaks!

This year we have achieved an ambitious goal: to manage a project for the Design Museum in London, with a focus on improving the internal foundations to better serve members and
visitors at large and which should see completion in the first half of 2022. It is an anchoring and enriching experience to deliver an institutional project at a non-for-profit cultural organisation whilst also consulting for private clients.

Art fairs are back, finally! Who would have thought that we would miss art fairs? We attended ARCO and Frieze yet, the one-and-only art fair not to miss, Art Basel 2021, was true indulgence after a two year gap. It was the power display we had been waiting for, with galleries giving a private client I took on a bespoke tour and I an exhilarating experience.

This year’s personal acquisitions and others made on behalf of a number of clients include works by Susie Hamilton, Aileen Murphy, Nicola Tyson, Rebecca Ackroyd and Joao Gabriel. I am forever grateful to my clients’ for their trust. You can have a look at more works in the Recent Acquisitions sections.

I close the year with a small collaboration with Mat Chivers. For those of you still in need of Christmas ideas, have a look at Two of a Kind, a curated selection of art and collectible items.
